  Awful, awful bank. They tack on hefty fees for no reason at all or for things they are supposedly protecting you against but actually aren't. It's impossible to get help when you need it (in person, on the phone or online); they'll be sure to waste as much of your time and make you jump through as many hoops as heavenly possible . It was so bad I actually had to contact the Better Business Bureau about them on multiple occasions. I finally just had enough of their antics and closed the account. A month later I get a letter saying they re-opened the account and charged me $90.00. Why? I Wish I knew but they wont give me an answer. Now I am fighting with them to figure out why they re-opened the account and just what this new mystery fee of theirs is. UPDATE (May 2017): They tacked on over $100 in "service fees" for NOT using the account; the one THEY re-opened against my wishes. I still don't know why they re-opened the account or what that $90 was for. UPDATE# 2 (July 2017): They removed the mystery $90 but still charged me $11 for not using the account. I paid it because I just want out. They closed the account again and I am hoping it stays that way, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled another stunt. I never would have left my previous bank if they hadn't moved. Choosing to use Citizen's Bank as my new local bank was a HUGE, HUGE mistake. I have NEVER had to deal with this at any bank I previously used nor at the one I use now. Beware Citizen's Bank. Once you open an account here they just won't let you leave.
